Philadelphia City Council ‘Pretty Much Shot Our Load’ When It Comes To School Funding

I heard it too, guys!

I heard it too, guys!

Yes, I am immature. But it’s good to see that City Councilmen Bill Green, Bobby Henon and Kenyatta Johnson caught the double entendre when Council President Darrell Clarke noted that the legislative body “pretty much shot our load” on various measures designed to raise funding for the city’s public schools.

Go ahead. See for yourself. Thirty-five seconds in. (Full disclosure: Kenyatta caught it immediately, with Henon and Green to follow. I just did two screengrabs and put them together. Because, again, I’m immature.)
