3830. Somerset, Mass. June 14. 65-year-old man who used a motorized wheelchair fatally struck by a grey car, possibly a Toyota, which fled the scene.
3831. Chicago, Ill. June 14. 22-year-old woman fatally struck by a dark Honda Accord which fled the scene.
3832-33. Raleigh, NC. June 15. Two 18-year-old women struck, one fatally, by a dark VW sedan which fled the scene. (Update: Arrest)

A Chicago man was ordered held in lieu of $75,000 bail Sunday after he allegedly struck an eight-year-old girl with his car Saturday and then drove away.
Patrick T. Washington, 36, of the 11400 block of South Indiana Avenue, faces charges of leaving the scene of an accident involving injury or death, as well as failing to exercise due care for a pedestrian, according to court records. (H/T Dan F.)
