I get it: You can drink syrup from the side of a tree. But here’s what I don’t get: That picture of a seventh grader doing so, from a school that will remain nameless, in a Philadelphia community newspaper that will also remain nameless.
I checked yesterday. With a lady. And she, too, agreed that this is a wholly offensive image — which, mind you — was provided by the school itself. I mean, c’mon people, you deserve the angry calls you must be getting.
