3317. Little Rock, Ark., Jan. 6. 61-year-old woman injured when struck by a white, extended cab Ford F-150 truck with military plates, possibly reading USA AEF, which fled the scene.
3318. Homewood, Pa. Jan. 6. Man injured when struck by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.
3319. St. Cloud, Minn. Jan. 7. 27-year-old man injured when struck by a maroon 1994 Ford Taurus which was left at the scene.
3320. Fulton, Ga. Jan. 7. Woman injured when struck by a silver or dark grey Honda which fled the scene.
3321. Winston-Salem, NC. Jan. 7. 7-year-old girl trying to board school bush injured when struck by a vehicle which fled the scene. (Update: Suspect ID’d)
3322. Keizer, Oreg. Jan. 8. 10-year-old girl on bike injured when struck by a grey four-door sedan which fled the scene.
3323-24. Baltimore, Md. Jan. 9. Two police officers suffer non-life-threatening injuries when struck by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.
3325. Eastpointe, Mich. Jan. 8. 50-year-old woman fatally struck by a white or silver Dodge Intrepid which fled the scene.
3326. Salem, Wash. Jan. 8. Boy injured when struck by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.
3327. Rockview, Pa. Jan. 8. 44-year-old man injured when struck by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.

Family and friends of Debbrah Marie Schweitzer Pesce, 53, of Monroe, gathered Thursday morning at Monroe Women’s Gospel Mission to remember and grieve the woman who was struck and killed by a motorist while riding her bike in Monroe the evening after Christmas.
A volunteer from Take the Next Step, a resource center in Monroe for those in crisis or difficulty, remembered Pesce tutoring children there during the after-school program Kidz Club. Another woman fondly remembered the two months Pesce stayed at the mission, when they had been roommates.
And there were several people from the Brookside Motel, where she was living at the time of her death, who remembered the woman posting fliers looking for work cleaning, and helping out around the motel.

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) — A 33-year-old Chesterfield man has been convicted in a hit-and-run that killed an 18-year-old woman last May.
Reginald K. Addo was convicted Tuesday of felony hit-and-run following the death of Kara Lengyel-Rivers. He was also convicted of driving with a revoked license.

A Clovis man involved in a felony hit-and-run on Highway 101 last week that injured a San Luis Obispo police sergeant was arrested Saturday thanks to a witness’ tip, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) – A Summerville man was sentenced Tuesday after hitting a cyclist with his truck and leaving him to die last year in West Ashley, authorities say.
Ninth Circuit Solicitor Scarlett Wilson said 32-year-old Jason Frank Marion pleaded guilty to reckless homicide. Wilson said he was sentenced to serve 10 years in prison.

WASHINGTON TWP. (WWJ) – Family and friends have contributed an additional $4,000, bringing the total reward up to $6,500 for information in the hit and run incident that killed a Macomb County mother of five.
The body of Sandra Lee Loepp, 37, was spotted by a passing motorist Sunday, Dec. 16, in the parking lot of the Washington Mobile Home Park, near Van Dyke and 28 Mile Road, in Washington Township. Police say Loepp had left Santino’s Bar at 1 a.m., and got only about a half-mile before she was struck.
Macomb County Sheriff’s officials said an investigation revealed Loepp was walking northbound on either the shoulder or the roadway of Old Van Dyke near Campground Road when she was hit and dragged to her death. The driver allegedly removed Loepp’s body from their car before fleeing the scene.

CATHEDRAL CITY — A driver who hit and killed a Cathedral City teenager Tuesday night was stabbed at the crash scene by a man who took off in the pickup but was later found and arrested, according to police.

The family of young hit-and-run victim Kevin Miller, 5, has released a statement, signed by his parents and brothers, to “thank everyone for the support and prayers” since Miller’s Dec. 21 death.
