Did a hit-and-run driver confess in his suicide note?

2615. Las Vegas. June 7. 29-year-old woman critically injured when struck by a small, black, two-door sports car, possibly with silver accents, possibly a Toyota, which fled the scene.
2616. Dexter, Oreg. June 6. 18-year-old volunteer firefighter fatally struck by a dark blue 2003 to 2007 Chevrolet Silverado extended-cab 4×4 pickup which fled the scene.
2617. James City, Va. May 31. 43-year-old woman on a bicycle injured when struck by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.
2618. Miller County, Ark. June 7. 56-year-old man killed when struck by a late 90s or mid 2000 model GM vehicle which fled the scene.
2619. Los Angeles, Cal. June 8. 53-year-old man struck and killed by a dark-colored Ford or Chevrolet which fled the scene.
2620. Gretna, La. June 6. 33-year-old man fatally struck by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.

When officers stopped the vehicle five or six blocks away on Marlborough Road, the red Nissan matched the witness descriptions and the numbers 6940 on the license plate matched what was reported, Chitwood said.
Arrested on aggravated assault with a vehicle, leaving the scene of an accident and various other charges was Sukhjinder Singh, 33, of the 7000 block of Walnut St. He is being held in lieu of $200,000 cash bail as he awaits a court hearing next week.

Seattle Police have made an arrest in the July 2011 fatal hit and run of a bicyclist in South Lake Union.
Few details were released during a news conference Thursday, at which police announced the arrest of Erlin Garcia Reyes, 28, of Normandy Park.
Police believe Reyes was the driver of an SUV that fatally struck and killed 44-year-old Michael Wang on July 28. The SUV hit Wang as the driver made a left turn on Dexter Ave. North. The suspect fled the scene.
Wang, a married father of two, was an avid bicyclist and photographer for PATH, a global health non-profit. He had commuted by bike from South Lake Union to his home in Shoreline and back for years.

Titusville police may have found the person who ran over a woman, and left her in the road to die. Investigators believe a note found inside a car at the scene may hold all of the answers.
Thursday morning, Titusville police were called to the Causeway near U.S. 1 and Garden Street to check a suspicious silver car. Inside, they found Mark Maddox, 53, dead from an apparent suicide.
Sources close to the case said Maddox left a note, which said he felt bad because he’d been in a car accident where someone was badly hurt.
