2439. Boise, Idaho. April 3. Male cyclist suffers non-life threatening injuries when struck by a silver, tan or cream colored SUV.
2440. Philadelphia. April 3. Man between the age of 17 and 20 critically injured when, while riding his bike, he was struck by a dark-colored S.U.V. which fled the scene. Police haven’t been able to identity the young man and only recovered a cell phone from the scene.

The mother of a 6-year-old seriously injured in a hit-and-run accident Friday has been arrested in connection with the crash, according to police records. Barbara Ruth Fink, 39, was arrested Saturday morning on suspicion of DUI, felony child abuse and failure to present evidence of insurance.

A retired Hammonton police detective pleaded guilty Tuesday to a 2010 hit-and-run that left an Atlantic County teen dead.
Anthony Scaltrito, 64, admitted to leaving the scene of a fatal motor vehicle accident in exchange for a sentence of six years in prison. The agreement requires no minimum before parole eligibility.

POUGHKEEPSIE – Police in the City of Poughkeepsie have released a surveillance photograph of the vehicle believed to have struck and seriously injured a pedestrian in front of 566 Main Street early Saturday morning, March 31. The image taken from video from the intersection of Main and White streets shows the vehicle traveling eastbound on Main Street just prior to striking the pedestrian.
The victim, a 56-year-old City of Poughkeepsie woman, remains in serious condition after undergoing extensive surgery at Westchester Medical Center, police said Tuesday.

DES MOINES, Iowa — Investigators released photos Wednesday of a car believed to have been involved in a crash with a skateboarder in Ames Sunday. Surveillance camera shows car believed involved in crash. Police said they believe the car involved in the crash is possibly a silver Honda Accord.
