2280. Santa Ana, Cal. Feb. 8. 13-year-old girl on bicycle hospitalized but expected to survive after being struck by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.
2281. Lewiston, NY. Feb. 8. 59-year-old man killed when struck by an older model sedan, either white or silver, which slowed down before taking off.
2282. Fontana, Cal. Feb. 9. 61-year-old man struck, dragged 150 feet before the car temporarily came to a halt, and killed by a champagne-colored Lincoln Navigator which fled the scene.
2283. Eau Claire, Wisc. Feb. 9. 40-year-old man in motorized wheelchair from injury suffered in a traffic accident 24 years ago suffers minor injuries when struck by vehicle he described as similar to a Ford Bronco which fled the scene.
2284-85. Anaheim, Cal. Feb. 9. 3-year-old girl killed and her 26-year-old mother critically injured when struck by a stolen 1995 Nissan Maxima from which the driver fled.
2286-87. Chicago. Feb. 9. Man in his fifties and woman in her forties killed when struck by a Nissan which fled the scene.

Brett Truskin, 22, is charged with vehicular homicide for allegedly hitting and killing Gregory Loper on Nov. 18.
Loper, a father to 11 children, was hit and killed while he was riding his bike in a bike lane on 1900 block of E Lehigh Avenue in Kensington, police said.

A rep for the Las Vegas Police Department tells TMZ … Pia was cited for leaving the scene of a traffic accident last Friday.

Police today released surveillance photos of a hit-and-run vehicle suspected of striking and seriously injuring a University of Illinois at Chicago student last month.

On July 13, Goldman was driving a 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier when he hit Micciche and her 19-year-old boyfriend, Sean William Snyder of Severna Park. They were crossing a darkened section of Ritchie Highway near Earleigh Heights Road to reach a carnival. Micciche later died as a result of her injuries.
Investigators concluded that Goldman was not at fault. The teens were not in a crosswalk and failed to yield to oncoming traffic, police said in their final accident report.

Green Bay, WI – The man convicted of causing the Green Bay hit-and-run death of a man in a wheelchair, will spend the next ten years in prison. 40-year-old Mark Sperber is accused of running down 20-year-old John Kennedy and leaving the scene. Sperber told police he thought he hit a garbage can, within a few hours, Kennedy was dead.

Boulder police have arrested a 17-year-old girl they say was the driver in a hit-and-run accident that seriously injured a University of Colorado student in January.

Police say Bradford was involved in a hit-and-run collision near a DUI checkpoint at Florida and Hamilton avenues on Nov. 19 that left two people injured. He fled the scene, officials said, and was arrested that night at a residence on Buchannan Street. Police suspected he was under the influence of marijuana.

TIVERTON — The family of John Kieron, the 70-year-old man killed in a hit-and-run, is appealing to a witness to come forward and help investigators find out who struck him. “Papa suffered for 10 weeks,” said Tanya Kieron, his daughter. “He didn’t deserve to die like that.” Kieron was struck Nov. 23 and died Feb. 3.
