a new joint-venture website, www.phillybandits.com, designed to help the FBI and our law enforcement partners identify and apprehend bank robbers, armed robbers of commercial businesses (“Hobbs Act” robbers), fugitives, and other violent serial criminals. This website was developed and is operated as part of the Philadelphia FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force, comprised of FBI Special Agents and Philadelphia Police Department Detectives and Officers. “Tips from citizens are an integral part of helping law enforcement identify and capture wanted criminals,” according to SAC Fedarcyk, “and this new website is the latest tool available to us to encourage the public’s involvement in helping us keep our streets safe.”
