The day after Philly’s mayoral election, I headed over to Andrew Jackson School in South Philly to see mayor-elect Jim Kenney’s first public chat since officially adding the title to his name. Here’s my PhillyVoice story from the scene.
Former co-worker Katie Colaneri adeptly noticed something that slipped past me — namely, that after his speech, he took a seat in a kindergarten class. A seat that belonged to someone else. That someone else is Celeste Dwyer, who dutifully told her teach of this affront. Kenney moved. That’s what’s up.
