Poor, dead hit-and-runner

An ongoing collection of unsolved hit-and-run cases, with a focus on car/pedestrian incidents, from across the country since Jan. ‘010. If you know something about any of these incidents, or one that I’ve missed, do the right thing and call the police, even anonymously.

269. Rochester, NH. April 11. Green Ford pick-up flees the scene of a three-car accident that resulted in injuries to others.

270. Linton, Ind. April 11. Two children struck and injured by a yet-identified vehicle.

271. Des Moines, Iowa. April 12. Mother and her baby suffer minor injuries when the car they occupied was struck head-on by a stolen car later found abandoned by the driver.

1. MESQUITE (Texas) – A driver who police say caused a hit-and-run accident was trying to flee from that wreck when he smashed his car into a concrete pillar and died early this morning (pictured).
