12586. Police are searching for a hit-and-run driver who struck and killed a man riding his bike in the West Adams neighborhood of Los Angeles Thursday night.
12587. Police say they have located the vehicle that allegedly struck a teen student who was walking in a crosswalk in Acton on Wednesday night, leaving him hospitalized with critical injuries.
12588. A pregnant woman remains in critical condition on Thursday after being struck by a vehicle, which fled the scene, in the southeast valley.

Family said 12-year-old Kavon was leaving a relative’s house at the time of the collision and suffered a broken back, hip, ribs and ankle among other injuries. “It’s not ok to leave anybody in the road, but for you to hit a kid and not stop — and it be this severe to where my son’s back got broke and he had to have surgery – that’s wrong,” said Nicole Hedrick, Kavon’s mother.
12590. The grandfather of missing toddler Quinton Simon has reportedly been killed in a hit-and-run in Burke County.
12591. According to police, a 17-year-old Fall River resident was stopped by police for illegally operating an ATV on a public street and failed to comply with officers. The teen then attempted to flee the scene and struck one officer, carrying him an unspecified distance before ultimately knocking him to the ground and running him over, police said. The juvenile then fled the scene on the ATV.
12592. Pembroke Pines police are searching for the driver who hit and killed a bicyclist. Authorities say unknown car hit 41-year-old Roy Miralda Saturday around 5:30 a.m. and then sped off. Miralda would die from his injuries while the driver took off, leaving him for dead.
12593. The driver didn’t stop to help before leaving the scene, according to police. The unnamed pedestrian died from his injuries.
12594. Just before 12:45 a.m., 17-year-old Mark Slabaugh was walking on the trail when he was hit by one of the partygoer’s vehicles. The suspect then fled the scene. When the sheriff’s office arrived on the scene, the teenager was pronounced dead, according to Det. Mackey.
12595. Dallas Police are seeking help from neighbors in a hit-and-run that left one dead early Saturday morning.
