An ongoing collection of unsolved hit-and-run cases, with a focus on car/pedestrian incidents, from across the country since Jan. ‘010. If you know something about any of these incidents, or one that I’ve missed, do the right thing and call the police, even anonymously.

1480. Grand Coteau, La. April 12. One-year-old suffers minor injuries after being struck by an unknown vehicle which fled the scene.

1481. Riverside, Ill. April 13. Young boy on a bicycle suffered minor injuries when struck by a cream-colored four-door mid-sized vehicle with a Polish-speaking female driver who may have been a nanny. The witness said the vehicle had a paper dealer plate.

1482. Minneapolis, Minn. April 12. Four University of Minnesota students celebrating that they got into graduate school injured, one critically, when struck by a white, four door early 2000’s Toyota Camry or Solara which fled the scene.

1483. Houston. April 15. Man in his 30s or 40s struck and killed by an unidentified vehicle.

1484. Albany, Ga. April 15. 55-year-old man suffers non-life-threatening injuries after being struck by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.

1485. Little Rock, Ark. April 14. 55-year-old man changing a tire on a vehicle struck and killed by a 1998- 2002 Maroon Pontiac Grand Am either an SE or GT which fled the scene.

1486. St. Johns County, Fla. April 13. 23-year-old man riding his bicycle struck and killed by a blue Ford pickup truck with an extended cab which fled the scene.

1487. Bay Shore, NY. April 15. 21-year-old man on an unregistered dirt bike critically injured when struck by a 2002 pickup truck; victim thrown from the bike and sustained severe head, neck and back injuries. The driver of pickup truck fled the scene on foot, leaving the truck at the scene.

1488. Sioux City, Iowa. April 16. Man injured when struck by a compact vehicle along the lines of a Honda Civic, perhaps a dark one, which took off.
