13171. A man is dead after police say he was hit by a driver who left the crash scene. According to the Henrico County Police Department, officers and fire units responded to the intersection of Three Chopt Road and Santa Rosa Road in the Tuckahoe area at around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 6 for a report of a man who had been struck by a driver.
13172. Police in San Jose are looking for a driver involved in a deadly hit-and-run on Friday night.
13173. MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A man has died after he was hit by a car on Halls Mill Road early Monday morning, according to a release from the Mobile Police Department.
13174. Police said Makai Sean Cummings, 20, of Nottingham, Maryland, was changing a tire on the right shoulder of I-295 near the Meadowbridge Road exit when he was hit by a passing vehicle at around 2 a.m. Cummings died at the scene.
13175. Baltimore police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that killed one and injured another man in downtown Baltimore Sunday evening.
13176. A school nurse in Kentucky has died after she was hit by a car, according to authorities. The Lexington Police Department said the hit-and-run accident happened around 11:30 p.m. Saturday. The victim was identified as 60-year-old Lynette Laine. She was taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.
13177. A St. Petersburg woman was in a pedestrian crosswalk when she was struck and killed by a vehicle. Police said the driver fled, and they are now searching for the suspect.
13178. LONGVIEW, Texas — Officials are asking the public’s help identifying a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run that killed one person in Longview Sunday.
13179. Philadelphia police say a person of interest is in custody after a mother and her 8-year-old child were struck in a hit-and-run just north of City Hall on Tuesday night.
13180. Prince William County police said Tuesday a 61-year-old Manassas man has died after being struck by a possible hit-and-run driver last month.
13181. OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) – Officers in Oshkosh have provided photos of the suspect vehicle allegedly involved in a hit-and-run that left a pedestrian hospitalized in late April.
13182. HIALEAH, FLA. (WSVN) – Police are looking for the driver who, they said, struck and killed a pedestrian steps away from a gas station in Hialeah and kept on going.
13183. Detectives with the Los Angeles Police Department are asking for the public’s help in identifying a driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run in Porter Ranch earlier this week.
13184. It is a scene that’s become too familiar in our state – people mourning a pedestrian that police say was killed in a hit-and-run. Earlier this month, someone we spoke with at a vigil said of a hit-and-run victim, “We’re all just so, we’re just broke, heartbroken. You know, we lost somebody very close and special to us.” Data shows hit-and-run crashes with injuries spiking. West Hartford Mayor Shari Cantor said this has been an issue everywhere. “Not just West Hartford and not just even the state of Connecticut. This is a national trend,” she said.
13185. When police arrived, fire and AMR first responders were already on scene of the crash and declared 55-year-old Angela Ramirez dead. The driver of the vehicle on scene was traveling westbound on Amarillo Boulevard in the left lane.
