12839. Detectives are asking for the public’s help finding a vehicle involved in a deadly hit-and-run on Glendale Avenue early Saturday morning, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
12840. Pittsburgh Police are looking for a car they believe was involved in the death of a man on the city’s South Shore. He was found lying on West Carson Street just before 3 a.m. after being hit by a car and died at a hospital.
12841. Police said on Saturday, Jan. 14, a mail carrier found a body in a ditch in front of 1068 Gale Road and called 911. Investigators said a man was found dead from an apparent hit and run.
12842. Information collected thus far by West Hartford Police in their investigation of the Dec. 20, 2022 hit and run incident which took the life of 89-year-old Eugenia Yurovsky, who was a pedestrian, suggests that a GMC Terrain, model year between 2010 and 2015 and possibly light-colored, was present in the area where the collision occurred, and police are hoping that the public will be able to assist in locating the vehicle and the driver.
12843. Officials report that the driver was in a 2001-2007 model Chevrolet Monte Carlo. The Monte Carlo struck and killed a pedestrian in the 600 block of East Old Hickory Boulevard in Madison at 7:40 p.m. Saturday.
12844. Officers with the Benton Police Department are investigating after a teenager was found dead Sunday morning on the 19000 block of the South Service Road near the Highway 5 Overpass just before 7 a.m. During the investigation, officers found the 13-year-old male unresponsive and believed to be the victim of a hit-and-run. The name of the child is not being released at this time.
12845. Police are asking for the public’s help finding a vehicle that was involved in a hit-and-run Sunday morning in Manchester, New Hampshire, that left a 35-year-old man with serious injuries.
12846. Atlanta police say a man was killed after being struck by a car while walking along the Downtown Connector.
12847. A woman was killed in a hit-and-run Sunday evening. At approximately 5:40 p.m., Memphis Police responded to a hit-and-run on West Levi Road and Marsonne Street.
12848. The Salt Lake City Police Department is investigating after two separate hit-and-run crashes killed one man and injured two teens. “I am very concerned about what is happening on our roadways,” said police Chief Mike Brown in a news release, calling the crashes “unacceptable.”
12849. “I told our older boy, daddy is in Heaven now. He’s watching over us now,” said Rodriguez. “He asked if daddy is ever coming back. I said, ‘No baby, he’s not coming back.'”
12850. Virginia State Police need your help solving a fatal hit-and-run, with a Tuesday morning news conference. Police are looking for the person who hit and killed Aaron Collins in September.
12851. A woman has life-threatening injuries after she was the victim of a hit-and-run in Minneapolis early Monday morning.
12852. A bicyclist died over the weekend as a result of a hit-and-run crash involving a semi-truck late Friday night, according to a release from the Gainesville Police Department.
12853. The woman, identified as 85-year-old Joan Hurley, of Maynard, is being charged with leaving the scene of personal injury, reckless operation of a motor vehicle and a crosswalk violation. The 13-year-old who was hit, identified by his mother as Cesar Soto Jr., wound up in a coma in a Boston hospital as a result of the crash.
12854. Louisville Metro Police officers are searching for a suspect behind a fatal hit-and-run crash reported Wednesday morning in the West End.
12855. A man was killed on Wednesday morning during a hit-and-run crash on the East Side, according to San Antonio police.
12856. A woman injured in a hit-and-run crash on Elmgrove Road over the weekend has died, police announced Wednesday. Brenda Wells, 55, of Hilton, died Tuesday after being hit late Sunday night near the Westside Family YMCA.
12857. When officers arrived, they found that a 15-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl had been struck in the crash. The vehicle involved did not stop and continued southbound on B Street, police said. The 13-year-old died from her injuries on Thursday, Marysville police said. The 15-year-old was treated for his injuries after the crash and has since been released from the hospital.
12858. Boston Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that left one man dead on Friday night. It happens around 10:30 p.m. in the area of Mass. Ave. and Melnea Cass Boulevard.
12859. A 70-year-old man has died after he was hit by a driver who fled the scene in East Hartford Wednesday night. Investigators are looking for a silver Hyundai with front-end damage and the person who was driving it.
