According to police, officers were dispatched to reports of a pedestrian struck with a car October 1 around 3:30 a.m. Police found the victim lying in the median, and the responsible driver had left the scene. The victim was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police, who haven’t released information about the car or driver, but both are still being sought.
13764. MARION, Ind. — Police are asking for the public’s help in tracking down a hit-and-run suspect who is accused of striking a child who was riding a bike early Tuesday morning and then fleeing the scene and leaving the child alone in the roadway, severely injured.
13765. Court documents said as Oden was driving, the suspect began attacking him from behind with a “battle axe style hatchet” he took from Oden’s home. Oden was able to gain control of the steering wheel, and that is when he pulled up to the sidewalk in the 12100 block of North MoPac Expressway.

13767. HALL COUNTY, Ga. – Gainesville police are still looking for the driver who hit and killed a man described as a “family protector” on Sept. 25.
13768. The Oklahoma City Police Department is investigating after a person was struck and killed by a vehicle Thursday morning. According to police, the incident happened near SW 38th and Portland where a man was crossing the street when he was struck by one vehicle and possible another. Both vehicles left the scene.
13769. The deceased was 77. He died of blunt force injuries, the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed Wednesday.
13770. DENVER (KDVR) — Police are looking for a hit-and-run driver who crashed into a 5-year-old boy on a bicycle in Longmont. It happened around 3:36 p.m. Saturday at 14th Avenue and Frontier Street.
13771. One person was injured after being hit by a car on in Roanoke earlier this month, according to police.
13772. Authorities are asking the public’s help with information about a man believed to be involved in a hit-and-run crash that killed a woman and an unborn child in Fort Worth.

13775. An alleged hit-and-run Wednesday involving a driver brandishing a knife ended with a Bend man being tackled by police while allegedly running around in his underwear, Bend Police said.
13776. On September 27 at approximately 9:40 p.m., Sparks Police, Fire and REMSA were called regarding a pedestrian in the roadway near Brierley Way and Vista Boulevard. When they arrived, they found Karla Martinez of Reno in the roadway of the 1800 block of Brierly Way with life threatening injuries. The investigation revealed that a vehicle struck Martinez and fled the scene.
13777. The Metropolitan Police Department is searching for a vehicle in relation to a hit-and-run that occurred in Northeast. On October 4, a black SUV was traveling at a high rate of speed on C Street when it struck what appears to be a child and a dog walking in a crosswalk area at the intersection of C Street and 12th Street, police said. After striking the person and dog, the driver drove off, police explained.
13778. According to CSPD, they first got the call of the bicyclist getting hit around 5:07 p.m. in the 1600 block of East Las Vegas Street in southeast Colorado Springs. Police say callers reported the suspect vehicle fleeing the scene after the hit and run. The bicyclist was transported to local hospital with life-threatening injury. A short time later, the bicyclist died.
13779. Police say a man was hit while in a crosswalk by a vehicle that then took off Thursday evening in Minneapolis.
13780. Police say at 8:30 p.m. a woman was struck by a vehicle in the southbound lanes at 200 South near the overpass. It’s believed that the woman crossed east on Redwood Road when she was struck, with the vehicle continuing northbound.
13781. Denver Police are looking for a suspect vehicle in a hit-and-run crash that seriously injured a pedestrian Sunday morning.
13782. A suspect is wanted for a hit-and-run that killed a 16-year-old Newark boy Monday night on the Garden State Parkway.
