3659. New Baltimore, Mich. April 18. 21-year-old woman injured when struck by an SUV which fled the scene.
3660. Pontiac, Mich. April 18. 3-year-old injured when struck by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene, outside a daycare center.
3661. Philadelphia, Pa. April 18. 2-year-old injured when struck by a black vehicle which fled the scene.
3662. Bakersfield, Cal. April 18. 5-year-old suffers broken leg when struck by a dark GM SUV; “driver reportedly stopped, got out, claimed it wasn’t his fault, told someone he didn’t have a license and took off.”
3663. Lansing, Mich. April 18. 59-year-old man critically injured when struck by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.
3664. Las Vegas, Nev. April 19. 25-year-old man injured when struck by a vehicle, possibly a taxi, which fled the scene.
3665. Dallas, Texas. April 20. Unidentified man injured when struck by a silver vehicle which fled the scene.
3666. Houston, Texas. April 19. Unidentified man killed when intentionally struck by a van which fled the scene.
3667. San Antonio, Texas. April 19. Man uninjured when struck by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.
3668. Herndon, Va. April 16. 62-year-old woman fatally struck by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.

On Dec. 28 he tweeted about what sounds like a hit-and-run: “Just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance by switching my car into reverse and driving away from the accident.” And on Feb. 6 he tweeted, “Everything in life can be free if you run fast enough.”

Nearly a year after a 76-year-old woman was hit and killed while crossing the street in Newark, police have arrested the man they believe was behind the wheel of the car that hit her.
Helen Yang was crossing Library Avenue on the evening of April 30, 2012, when she was hit by a car that kept on going after the collision. After receiving information that 26-year-old Ryan Wroten of Newark may have been involved in the crash, Newark Police seized his Honda Accord in early July.

State police say Sylvestro Liotta of Central Islip was arrested Wednesday at a border checkpoint on the Peace Bridge, which connects Buffalo to Fort Erie, Ontario. Liotta was arrested during a routine identification check while sitting aboard a Trailways bus.
