3060. Lowell, Mass. Sept. 23. 50-year-old man struck and killed by a gold or beige Buick which fled the scene.
3062. Taft, Cal. Sept. 23. 19-year-old man suffers major injuries when struck by a described as a dark colored older model (possibly 2000) 4-door car, possibly a Mitsubishi Galant, which fled the scene.
3063. Phoenix, Az. Sept. 23. Pedestrian critically injured when struck by a Chevy Malibu which fled the scene.
3064. Patrick Co, Va. Sept. 23. 42-year-old man riding a bicycle injured when struck by an older-model Camaro which fled the scene.
3065-66. Glasgow, Del. Sept. 25. 52-year-old woman critically injured and 67-year-old suffers less substantial injuries when struck by a black Geo Tracker SUV which fled the scene.
3066. Campbell Co., Va. Sept. 24. 52-year-old man struck and killed by a grey minivan which fled the scene.
3067. Queens, NY. Sept. 25. 38-year-old bicyclist struck and killed by an unidentified vehicle which fled the scene.
3068. Lower Gwynedd, Pa. Sept. 25. 12-year-old boy on a bicycle struck by a 1998 red Ford Contour which fled the scene.
3069. Chicago. Sept. 25. Man on bicycle critically injured when struck by an SUV which fled the scene.

The family of a 15-month-old girl, who was killed in the street just feet away from her home, is speaking out. Investigators believe Milan Darr, 71, ran over Ivana Valenciano on Isleta and Raymac in the South Valley Friday night.
“He didn’t even try to stop,” her cousin Cesar Aragon said. “He just went straight through. It was just a really hard impact and we all had to see it. It just breaks our heart.”
Sheriff’s deputies arrested Darr at a Los Lunas home hours after the accident.

New Haven Police have charged a juvenile in connection with a crash on January 15, 2011 that killed a 14-year-old boy. Kysant Moore Jr., 14, was riding his bike on Front Street near Grand Avenue just after midnight when he was struck and killed.
Witnesses said the juvenile responsible for Moore’s death was driving a stolen minivan when he intentionally opened the driver’s door and struck Moore, killing him.

The Washington State Patrol says a motorist who sideswiped a car in Tacoma and tried to outrun pursuing troopers turned out to be another state trooper.

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – University of Southern Mississippi Police has arrested a suspect related to Sunday’s hit-and-run accident on 4th Street in Hattiesburg that left one student injured. The suspect is being held at the Forrest County Jail, and will be formally charged on Friday with a felony for “leaving the scene of an accident causing injury.”

A county grand jury has indicted a young Flagstaff woman on manslaughter charges in connection with a Sept. 9 hit-and-run crash that left a young NAU student dead.
According to the indictment handed down Thursday, Kelsey Lou Cody, 22, is accused of one count of manslaughter, one count of failing to stop at the scene of a fatal accident, one count of DUI, one count of DUI with a blood-alcohol content above 0.08 percent, and one count of extreme DUI with a blood-alcohol content above 0.20 percent.
